Monster School was originally started created by Willcraft since Dec. 12, 2012. The first episode was named Crafting. Willcraft's original students are: Ghist Creep, Zombieswine, Endie, Spider, Skellington, Mucus and Zombee.

Herobrine was also the only teacher back then In Mid 2013, Willcraft added eight new students to the series after fan demands: Maggie, Silvester, Zupay, Cavell, Blaise, Witton, and Multus.

A new teacher was added to the series around this time too, which is a Witch known as Hildegrade. Sometime in 2014, Willcraft decided to add a intro to each of his monster school videos for each episode from hear on out, which was a bus going to the school, this also introduced a new character known as the Bus Driver who is the only character in Willcrat's Monster School to have facial expressions and he is Willcraft's favorite character.
