Minecraft online free

Ok, so I'm playing on Switch, hosting a world with my two kids, each on a Switch of their own. We're doing wifi online even though we are in the same room.

But the connection is sometimes really bad. It's occasionally very laggy, and the kids often lose connection.

This happens especially when we are far apart within the world (one is in the regular world, one is in the Nether, for example). Even if just one of them is playing with me, the connection is still bad.

I'm guessing it is something on my end because when they play with each other, they have no problems.

Here are some details that might offer insight on our situation:
